archIT is responsible for the support of the IT-institutions of the faculty for example the computer pools.

At the plot pool of the faculty it is possible to print small to large formats and scan day and night!

The material science department has a extensive collection of product sheets and material samples.

The library of the KIT department of architecture has about 19.000 volumes, thereof about 3.400 journal volumes.

The central photo workshop is primary an open workshop for the institute and students of the department of architecture. 

The architecture model is an important design tool. It helps to capture and understand the space and also helps design it.

In the wood workshop the design, the material and detail design come together.

In the metal workshop it is possible to learn the classic metal processing as well as producing computer-assisted models.

The digital workshop offers know-how and hardware for digital modelling, for example laser cutter and 3D printer.
