Department Council


(Excerpt from the State University Act - LHG)
The Department Council advises on all matters of fundamental importance to the department. It comments on appointment proposals, unless the Basic Regulations provide for more extensive participation rights on the basis of § 48 Paragraph 4 Sentence 7. The approval of the Department Council is required:

  1. the structural and development plans of the department
  2. the establishment, alteration and abolition of department institutions,
  3. the study and examination regulations of the department; the approval requires the agreement of the responsible study commission.
