Study Commission

(Excerpt from the Landeshochschulgesetzt - LHG)

The Department Board appoints a Study Commission for tasks related to teaching and studying, which consists of a maximum of ten members, four of whom are students, one of whom should be a member of the Department Board or the department. The Department Board shall decide on the competence of the Study Commission for individual courses of study. In the case of inter-faculty study commissions, the executive board decides on their assignment to one or more Departments. A study commission is chaired by the dean of studies. In the case of inter-faculty study commissions, the executive board shall determine which dean of studies shall chair the commission.
