Eröffnung des „Hochsitzcafés auf der Katzenwedelwiese“

Im Rahmen des Projekts „Hochsitzcafé auf der Katzenwedelwiese“ haben Studierende der Fakultät für Architektur am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie unter der Leitung der Künstler:innen Indra Schelble und Olaf Quantius eine künstlerisch gestaltete Hochsitzgruppe entworfen und gebaut. Die aus drei Hochsitzen bestehende Installation auf der Streuobstwiese des ZKM in Beiertheim-Bulach wird am 21. April eröffnet und kann bis Herbst 2024 vor Ort genutzt werden. Im Unterschied zu forstwirtschaftlich genutzten Hochsitzen sind die Hochsitze auf der Katzenwedelwiese nah beieinander gruppiert und sind so weniger Beobachtungsposten als vielmehr eine gesellige Sitzgruppe, die als Plattform der Kommunikation und des Perspektivwechsels dienen kann.
