Neue Honorarprofessorin Kerstin Müller

Ms. Kerstin Müller is the first woman in our Department to be awarded an honorary professorship.

Kerstin Müller is an architect BSA and, since 2020, Co‑Managing Director and Co‑Founder of Zirkular GmbH. She studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and at the École d’Architecture de Lyon and gained many years of professional experience in the United States, Austria, and Canada. In 2013, she moved to Switzerland, where she became a member of the executive management of baubüro in situ ag in Basel.
Between 2022 and 2026, Müller held several visiting professorships at the Faculty of Architecture at KIT Karlsruhe. In 2023, she co‑developed the Swiss “CAS Circular Construction”, which she has co‑led ever since. Since 2024, she has also headed the “Circular Construction Qualification Program” at AKBW, the Baden‑Württemberg Chamber of Architects.
In addition, Müller serves as a member of the design advisory boards of the cities of Friedrichshafen and Chur.
