The model is an important design tool and helps to grasp and understand space and also to design space. While more and more students have their 3-dimensional experience only on the computer screen, the model building workshop trains tactile skills and teaches ways to design on the model and to go through all phases of model building (technique, abstraction, materiality) in basic courses and model building courses.
The model making workshop also supervises third-party funded projects such as exhibition models and competition models.
