Kerstin Müller

Kerstin Müller is a qualified architect, ecobau specialist partner and GEAK® expert. She studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and at the École d'Architecture de Lyon. In Vienna, she was in charge of developing and realizing a low-energy housing estate. During her long-term stay in Vancouver, Canada, she completed various further training courses in the field of sustainability in addition to her work as an architect, after which she became a GEAK+ expert. Since 2018, she has been leading the "WohnWandel" initiative, which is committed to community-oriented housing in Lörrach and the surrounding area. Müller has been working as an architect and energy expert at Baubüro in situ in Basel since 2013. Her field of activity includes site developments, renovations of existing buildings and the supervision of pilot projects. An important task is also public relations. Since 2019, she has been a member of the management of Baubüro in situ. In 2020, she was elected co-president of the Cirkla Schweiz association, and also represents the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects, Lörrach Chamber Group on the climate advisory board of the city of Lörrach.

Kerstin Müller was a visiting professor at the KIT Faculty in the summer semester 2022 and winter semester 2022/23 as part of the Sto Foundation Visiting Professorship "Sustainable Materials for a new Architectural Practice".
