Dear students of the KIT-Department of Architecture,
We are pleased that you are interested in a semester abroad. For many years, the KIT-Department of Architecture has maintained close partnerships with a range of European universities. You have the opportunity to study there for one or two semesters without any tuition fees being applicable.
Furthermore, the KIT International Students Office has many worldwide university cooperation programs available to you. An internship abroad is also possible during and after your studies.

Application deadline for ERASMUS+ places for the academic year 2023/24
The application process for ERASMUS+ study visits for the 2023/24 academic year runs until January 16, 2023, and the selection will be announced in mid-February. Please hand in the complete application documents in the Mobility Online System by January 16, 2023, at the latest. Questions about the application procedure will be answered by the subject coordinator Dr. Judith Reeh and Silke Marx from the Erasmus Office of the department.

In this information event of the Erasmus office of the department you will learn about the following:

You want to spend part of your studies at another university, in the region and abroad?
Within a radius of only 200 km, you can study at five universities in Germany, France and Switzerland and make your studies on the Upper Rhine international. The university network Eucor - The European Campus consists of the universities of Basel, Freiburg, Haute-Alsace, Strasbourg and KIT. By enrolling at an Eucor university, you are automatically part of the Eucor network, which has been in existence since 1989.
There are different mobility offers:
Free mobility (offered at KIT)
- Semester mobility
Students of an Eucor university can spend a whole semester or year full time at a partner university. You arrange your study plan yourself. - Point mobility
Individual courses are attended at another Eucor university, and courses are also attended at the home university in the same semester.
Integrated Mobility
Eucor offers joint degree programs and double degree programs, where the stay abroad is already firmly anchored in the studies. You study at the partner universities in alternating semesters.

Current issues
Winter School on Circularity in the Built Environment
21 November 2021 – 23 November 2021
The Circular Built Environment Hub of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft will host the Winter School on Circularity in the Built Environment. Students from all levels of education (BSc, MSc) as well as PhD researchers are invited to participate in a 3-day intensive workshop that will focus on the topic of scales. Participants are also invited to attend the Circularity in the Built Environment (CiBEn) Conference that will take place in Delft on the following days Wednesday, November 24 to Friday, November 26. Winter School activities and outcomes will be presented at the CiBEn conference during a special session to be held on Friday, November 26.
