Dear students of the KIT-Department of Architecture,

We are pleased that you are interested in a semester abroad. For many years, the KIT-Department of Architecture has maintained close partnerships with a range of European universities. You have the opportunity to study there for one or two semesters without any tuition fees being applicable.

Furthermore, the KIT International Students Office has many worldwide university cooperation programs available to you. An internship abroad is also possible during and after your studies.

Application deadline for ERASMUS+ places for the academic year 2021/22

The application process for ERASMUS+ study visits for the 2021/22 academic year runs until January 11, 2021, and the selection will be announced in mid-February. Please hand in the complete application documents (as one copy) in stapled form (folder) to the FAi office (Mrs. Marx, R 139) by January 11, 2021, at the latest. Questions about the application procedure will be answered by the subject coordinator Dr. Judith Reeh and Silke Marx from the Erasmus Office of the department.

Raus aus Karlsruhe - Information event on studying abroad

Winter School on Circularity in the Built Environment

21 November 2021 – 23 November 2021

The Circular Built Environment Hub of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft will host the Winter School on Circularity in the Built Environment. Students from all levels of education (BSc, MSc) as well as PhD researchers are invited to participate in a 3-day intensive workshop that will focus on the topic of scales. Participants are also invited to attend the Circularity in the Built Environment (CiBEn) Conference that will take place in Delft on the following days Wednesday, November 24 to Friday, November 26. Winter School activities and outcomes will be presented at the CiBEn conference during a special session to be held on Friday, November 26.

2021 Humanities Summer School

The 2021 Humanities Summer School is a 4-week intensive ONLINE program for University students (Bachelor’s and Master’s) with courses focused on humanistic, social and economic fields, linked in particular to the Italian and European dimension. It will be held in Bergamo in collaboration with Fairleigh Dickinson University (New Jersey)  from 21st June to 16th July 2021. Deadline for registration is 31st May 2021 (subject to availability).

Bewerbungsfrist für ERASMUS+-Plätze im akademischen Jahr 2021/22

Noch bis zum 11. Januar 2021 läuft das Bewerbungsverfahren für ERASMUS+-Studienaufenthalte im akademischen Jahr 2021/22. Bekanntgabe über die Auswahl ist dann Mitte Februar. Bitte geben Sie die Bewerbungsunterlagen in 1-facher Ausfertigung vollständig in einer zusammengehefteten Form (Mappe) bis spätestens 11. Januar 2021 im FAi-Büro (Frau Marx, R 139) ab. Fragen zum Bewerbungsverfahren beantworten die Fachkoordinatorin Dr. Judith Reeh sowie Silke Marx vom Erasmus-Büro der Fakultät.

Raus aus Karlsruhe - Informationsveranstaltung zum Auslandsstudium 

Einmal im Jahr, meist Ende November/Anfang Dezember, findet an der Fakultät eine Informationsveranstaltung zum Auslandsstudium statt. 

In dieser Infoveranstaltung des Erasmusbüros der Fakultät erfährst Du

  • wie die Bewerbung für ein Auslandsstudium an der Fakultät für Architektur funktioniert
  • welche Unterlagen Du benötigst
  • wohin die Reise gehen kann
